SPJFC

The South Perth Junior Football Club (SPJFC) conducts and promotes junior Australian Rules Football in and around the South Perth area.  The club was established over 90 years ago and has provided the right environment to develop many successful community, WAFL and AFL players over the years.  Our clubrooms are at Ernest Johnson Ovals in South Perth and our emblem, the Stingray, is worn with pride on around 450 school aged players, both boys and girls, from pre-primary through to Year 12.

Our club focuses on both personal and football skill development, while having FUN.  We ensure equal opportunity; provide a safe environment; and encouraging our club values of good sportsmanship, teamwork, responsibility, respect, leadership, commitment and community participation amongst all our players and parents.

We have a strong sense of football community and host various family social activities throughout the football season.  We believe “it’s how you play the game that counts!” and place as much importance on how we conduct our club off the field as when we compete on the field.  ‘Winning’ is considered only one of the many equal goals in junior football development at our club.

Our club is a well-managed incorporated “not for profit” volunteer organisation. As a member of the Perth District Football Development Council, we have attained Gold status in the quality club program, as well as many district club performance awards over the years.
