Junior Community football continues to attract new players, teams, coaches and volunteers. The Football Pathway process within the WA Football development structure is continuing to work remarkably well. The Pathway commences with the introductory AFL Auskick Program for very young children (boys and girls) and their parents, schools and teachers, where the fundamentals of the skills and how to play the game, and very importantly, desirable personal and group behavioural skills are entrenched. From here children and parents graduate to local community club and school based football programs and competitions if they so desire.
